Flight Test Instrumentation
Flight test instrumentation (FTI) is essential to acquire,
display and record the specific data parameters required to
develop Ship–Helicopter Operating Limits (SHOL).
Prism Defence’s engineering team manages the technical challenges
of developing FTI while meeting the airworthiness requirements of
the regulatory authorities of our customers.
We have demonstrated experience across all aspects of developing flight test instrumentation
suites for both military and civil clients including:
- design
- manufacture
- structural analysis
- electrical loads analysis
- installation and removal
- certification documentation
Our engineering processes ensure that the customer is informed throughout FTI development through:
- customer site visits to scope FTI requirements
- regular design reviews and updates
- complete transparency of all designs
- provision of certification documentation
